Hello, friends! Today’s children’s story is Aesop’s fable “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” or “Peter and the Wolf“.
As a fable for children, it has a moral that I’ll let you discover at the end of the story.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf or Peter and the Wolf
There was a little shepherd named Peter who liked to play pranks. One day, he climbed the hill and shouted, “Wolf! A wolf is attacking my sheep!“

All the villagers came with sticks and axes to drive away the wolf, but they only found the boy laughing, and they went back to their homes angry with him.

The little shepherd Pedro repeated the same prank again and again… Until one day, he saw a real wolf approaching his sheep. He climbed the hill and shouted, “Wolf!”

However, thinking it was another joke from the boy, the villagers didn’t come to help, and the wolf ate many sheep…
